1. How to Delete Your Account & Data

You can request the deletion of your personal data in the following ways:

  • Via Account Settings:
    1. Log in to your Carriera.org account.
    2. Navigate to Settings > Account Settings.
    3. Click on “Delete My Account” and follow the confirmation steps.
    4. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
  • By Contacting Support:
    1. Send an email to support@carriera.org with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.
    2. Include your registered email address and a reason (optional).
    3. Our team will process your request within 7 business days.

2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

  • Your profile, job applications, saved jobs, and personal information will be permanently deleted from our database.
  • Employers will no longer have access to your profile or job applications.
  • If you are an employer, your job listings and candidate interactions will also be removed.
  • Some anonymized statistical data may be retained for platform analytics, but it will not be linked to your identity.

3. Exceptions to Data Deletion

In certain cases, we may retain some data if required by:

  • Legal obligations (e.g., fraud prevention, tax regulations).
  • Pending transactions or disputes related to your account.
  • System backups, where deletion may take up to 30 days for full removal.

4. Reactivating a Deleted Account

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Carriera.org again.
